Private Lessons (1-4 players)
Hour $90 Half hour $45
Great for every level – beginners to advanced. Private lessons are the best way for you to change technique.
Private lessons must be booked – the earlier you book, the greater the chance you have of securing the time/day you want. Some people have a private lesson weekly, others every few weeks, and some only when they have something they would like to specifically work on.
Private lessons are important for absolute beginners – you will feel much more comfortable when you choose to join a group.
Prepaid Private Lessons Loyalty Card Special
Pre-purchase 10 x private lessons (for 1-4 players) and the 11th one is on us.
No need to scramble for payments each time. Prepaid cards are valid for 12 months and can be kept at the centre.
½ hour $450
1 hour $900
You can purchase your loyalty cards at the KPTC Office
Adult Group Coaching
Adult Group Tennis Squads
From beginners to advanced – pay as you go – bookings are essential. Bookings can be made by clicking the “Book an Adult Squad” link below.
Due to the high demand and to ensure you get a spot it is advised that you book using our online booking system. Bookings can be made up to 3 days in advance. If you need to cancel your booking you must contact us with a minimum of 12 hours notice to receive a credit.
(Existing customers must contact us before they use the online booking system for the first time so we can allocate them a level. New customers must also contact us prior to booking for the first time to arrange an assessment)
Group Tennis Squad Pricing
$20 casual per hour / $30 casual per 1.5 hours / $25 per hour for absolute beginner/complete novice sessions
To allow for this flexibility, all adult group coaching must be paid for before the class begins, we recommend booking online to guarantee your spot, if you would prefer to pay in person we suggest that you come 10-15 minutes before the start of the class. We aim to have 5-6 people in each group, however, due to the flexible nature of these lessons, numbers may fluctuate up or down slightly.
Whilst private lessons are the best way to successfully learn, change and develop technique, group coaching is designed to give you information, a chance to practice what you have learnt and obtain rally/tactical skills.
Coaching for new customers
Adult Group Coaching is drop-in, pay-as-you-go, however, you need to email us via this website to be assessed before you join in for the first time. Please do not just show up for the first time if one of our coaches has not seen you play to assess your standard. A private lesson is necessary before joining group sessions for the first time so we can assess your standard and find the best fit for you.
Group sessions are divided into the following categories:
Absolute Beginners
People who have never played tennis before or have very limited experience.
Beginner
Beginners who have played socially can control the ball enough to have a short rally and may have had lessons but their level of play is still at a low level.
Intermediate
Competition players comfortable with serving and rallying; play regularly.
Advanced
Proficient at playing doubles and singles; can maintain rallies at a fast pace; confident using topspin and slice; can volley confidently; play more than once a week; have previously played comp tennis.
Mums’ Coaching
These sessions tend to be a lot more relaxed to allow busy Mums some ‘me time’. They are timed to coincide with the Super Kids Sports program that runs for pre-schoolers at our centre.
Prices are $225 per term and makeup classes are available throughout the week if required.
Children’s Coaching
Lessons for kids at Keirle Park cater for children of all ages, whose tennis experience ranges from absolute beginner to advanced. Our aim is for the children to have fun while we instil in them sound tennis techniques and maximise the wide range of skills required to play tennis.
It has been noted that the ages of 4-7 are the ideal ages for most children to capture a physical skill and learn new actions that will be retained throughout life – just like riding a bike!
The structure of the classes varies according to the ability of the children. Different ball colours are also used relative to age – younger children generally use softer balls with less bounce to allow them to develop the skills and power required in later years.

Make-up lessons
Make up lessons are available if your child misses a lesson due to wet weather. If it is raining, we will contact you via text message with as much notice as possible to let you know whether the class is cancelled. Make up lessons must be taken within the same term and can be done on another day that is suitable for children of the same age/standard. Credit will not be given for missed lessons, nor can payments be transferred to the next term. Lessons are not transferable between children and/or terms.
